The Radach Hotel's ground-mounted system is completely finished! Acceptance has already taken place and the system with a capacity of approx. 74 kWp is up-and-running.
The ground-mounted system in Tamale was a first for us in two respects. Firstly, because we had previously only financed PV on the roof and secondly, our subsidiary EWIA Infrastructure took over the installation of the system for the first time (such as ground and site preparation, foundation work, fence and frame construction). Nevertheless, the installation only took two weeks. This was despite the fact that the rainy season had put a stop to our plans before the start of construction, but afterwards EWIA Infrastructure was able to work in record time.
The system will feed all of the green electricity into the hotel's grid and thus cover up to 50% of the energy consumption. A total of 2 kilometres of cable were laid for this purpose. The Radach Hotel currently has 68 rooms, six conference rooms and two restaurants and is one of the top addresses for business travellers and tourists in the region. Due to the high occupancy rate, an expansion of the hotel complex is being planned.
The customer is extremely pleased - and so are we. Tamale now has a green flagship project and so does EWIA. We are very proud of our team and look forward to the next projects.
